We were happy to see our recent HTeaO acquisition announcement making the rounds across local media outlets and wanted to plug for Erin Booke’s article for the Dallas Morning News’ which echoes the press release we published internally. As many of you already know, Crux Capital, in partnership with Trive Capital, announced yesterday that we’ve acquired a minority stake in HTeaO, an Amarillo-brewed-and-bred iced tea franchisor that emerged in North Texas beginning in 2020.
Since the first DFW location opened in Dallas, HTeaO has grown to nearly 10 locations locally and more than 60 statewide locations across Texas, Oklahome, New Mexico, Kansas and Florida.
“The power of our brand has never been stronger, and this strategic partnership will help expand on what we have built,” HTeaO CEO Justin Howe said in the release.
Founded in Amarillo in 2009 and now headquartered in Fort Worth, HTeaO locations offer both in-store and drive-through drink options, including more than 26 flavors of sweetened and unsweetened iced tea, plus a coffee menu in development and a custom water filtration system to ensure consistency in flavor profiles across all locations.
Brewed to perfection, who wouldn’t want to sip their way to success?
