With new mixed-use space coming soon, The Star continues to rise — and Superscapes, a partner since the first shovel hit the ground, is helping it grow strong.
The real estate arm of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has a new project taking shape at The Star in Frisco. Recently approved by the Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission, the proposed mixed-use development — known as the Frisco Multi-Event Center Addition — is set to bring 158 urban living units, a hotel, two office buildings, parking garages, and a marquee sign to the northwest corner of Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway. As The Star continues to grow and evolve, Superscapes is proud to carry on as its trusted landscape partner — keeping the grounds thriving and the destination looking its best since day one.
After a January setback, plans for a new mixed-use project at The Star are back on track. The 11.9-acre site, currently a parking lot, is owned by Blue Star Land LP. The next step is submitting a site plan for approval, and if it aligns with the preliminary plan, no further council review will be needed.
The Cowboys’ practice facility at The Star in Frisco isn’t just a hub for the team — it’s a key driver of the city’s rapid expansion. Serving as a blueprint for other mixed-use projects like Firefly Park, Frisco Railhead, and The Mix, The Star showcases how these developments are shaping the future of Frisco. With billion-dollar projects like Fields, home to the PGA of America Headquarters and Omni PGA Frisco Resort, the city’s growth is undeniable. In just two decades, Frisco’s population has skyrocketed from 33,000 to over 200,000.
Since opening in 2016, The Star has become a key economic driver for Frisco, hosting over 1,000 events in 2023 and Superscapes is proud to have been a part of it from the ground up!
