Buff City Soap is about to suds up Dallas with two more stores, making waves to keep up with the soaring demand for its hands-on soap-making experience and all-natural products.
“We’re absolutely floored by the frothy reception Buff City Soap has gotten here in Dallas,” said Chad Brizendine, the chief marketing officer. Since the company packed up and bubbled over to Dallas from Memphis in 2020, it’s grown from two to 13 stores across DFW, and with two more launching in April, the soap storm shows no sign of slowing down!
The new Plano store at 2396 Preston Road is set to open on April 8, in a spot that used to house Jos. A. Bank at the bustling intersection of Preston and West Park Blvd, a well-known shopping destination. On April 15, the Casa Linda location at 9440 Garland Road will open its doors next to the Sample House & Candle Shop, tapping into the rich history of this 1945-built shopping district, home to local favorites like Elliott’s Hardware, Albertsons, and more.
The new Casa Linda and Plano Buff City Soap stores will be corporate-owned and operated, unlike most of the retailer’s franchise locations. Buff City Soap has seen impressive growth, now boasting 195 stores in 29 states—up from just 35 stores in 11 states two years ago.
Known for its plant-based, handmade products, Buff City Soap leaves out the harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats and sulfates commonly found in soaps and shampoos. Customers can get in on the action by watching soaps being made and even customizing their own products with 30 unique scents, like Breathe, Ferocious Beast, Narcissist and All Hail the Queen.
